Start with setting up your profile: click on “Edit profile” button on your Profile page and fill out the fields.
Make sure to provide a Primary Email or Primary Phone number that are critical for communicating the information with you and connecting you for the job. (Primary Email and Primary Phone also are prerequisites for the posting in “My Services”). Your contacts are hidden in your public profile and will be revealed to your counterpart upon your agreement to do the job.
Don’t forget to upload your photo that is so important in the neighborhood contacts and list your language preferences. The latter will show up in your services and job requests, but you may change it later.
Set your home town and preferable price units.
Save changes in every profile section if needed!

What is the “Verify” buttons in the Contacts section?
The status of your contacts, “verified” or “not verified” shows if you have confirmed your contact information. Having verified contacts adds to your image of a reliable user. Contact information is hidden in your public profile but the verification status is always shown.

Why to verify my identity?
It is optional. Your identity verification status is shown in your public profile and verifying your identity will raise the attractiveness of your posts as well as ensure your and other users' safety.
To verify your identity, it is necessary to scan and upload two pieces of ID one of which is a government-issued photo ID such as a driver’s license, student ID, or passport and the other - a full page of utility bill that shows a resent date, your name and address. Once you have uploaded both documents, click on the “Request identity verification” button.

How to check Messages and Offers?
If you are a service provider and you receive a message, you can access it by clicking on the “My services” tab.
If you are a requester and you receive a message, you can access it by clicking on the “My requests” tab.
Next, you go to the specific corresponding request or service that you have asked for.
You can then click on the “Neighbordoo Cyber Attendant” prompt in “My conversations” section, to view any active services or requests in your area.
When you click on a user’s profile icon, you will be able to view their public information. To send a message click on a user’s name and write in messaging window that opens.
Following message exchange, the service provider can make an Offer. It is recommended to include a short description, start date or time, price and who is responsible for material cost in the Offer.
Finally, send your offer.
Please make fair and reasonable offers that would benefit both sites.

How to rate?
After completing a request or service, you will have the option to rate the performance of the other user. Please rate fairly and include a brief description of why you gave the rating you did. Ratings will help other users identify whether a service or request was done well and assist everyone in the community.

How to report abuse?
To report a user for abuse, go to their user profile and click the red “Report abuse” button on the right side. Then, write the details of the abuse and press the “Send abuse report” button. The site administration will be notified and will review the problem.
Report users if:
These are a few examples, if you feel like something other than what’s listed is abuse and is similar to the activities listed, file a report.

What do I do if people rate me unfairly and no one will accept my requests or services?
If you have a problem with ratings, please consult with the Help Desk to help you with your problem. We would like a short description of your situation and some evidence to prove your claims.

Looking for a work done or have a skill to offer - Neighbordoo.com is the place to find help and people for the job or to offer your abilities and time.
It is as simple as 1,2,3:
After users create accounts, requests and/or services, the site does analytics and notifies service providers of matching requests. Then, requesters are approached by interested service providers by offering their profile and additional service-related information. These users are free to choose whom to contact with and negotiate the details of the job. Confirmation of a service provider’s “Offer” (“Deal”) opens full contact information to both sides that agreed to work together. The sides can now connect directly and proceed with the work. When the work is done, the job requester can rate and comment on the job service and vice versa.
At every stage of information exchange and negotiations, there is a Report Abuse button. Use it to inform Neighbordoo.com if you feel that the information provided was intentionally misleading or a user decided to take an advantage of trust of the community.
